Preventing Vulnerable Children and Adolescents Falling Into Violence Discussion

The private meeting will bring together stakeholders from across the system, including policymakers, police and crime commissioners, safeguarding leads and academics – to discuss Harvey Redgrave’s proposals published in the report, ‘ Closing the Gaps: Preventing Vulnerable Children and Adolescents Falling Into Violence’. The report calls for a national strategy to tackle the causes of serious youth violence involving reforms to child protection, schools and policing, as well as a complete overhaul in how services identify and respond to the issue of criminal exploitation.
