Chief Constable of Cumbria Constabulary
As Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, it is my responsibility to appoint a leader who will focus on making Cumbria Constabulary an outstanding police service for the public of Cumbria. I am seeking a leader who shares my mission to keep Cumbria a safe place to live, work and visit; to deliver effective policing and to win the respect and support of the public.
I am looking for an exceptional individual who can lead Cumbria Constabulary, maintaining a resilient leadership team and the wider police workforce with the leadership skills to attract and retain the very best personnel to serve the communities of Cumbria.
As Chief Constable you must be able to lead, motivate and inspire officers and staff, ensuring their wellbeing, acting with integrity and transparency whilst fostering a culture based on trust and resilience. Ensuring public confidence in the Constabulary within Cumbria and further afield will be a key challenge in today’s policing climate.
I am looking for a leader who is innovative, dynamic, visionary and whose passion for public service can inspire those around them to help create a police force to be proud of. If you believe you can offer this to Cumbria, then I would welcome your application
