Estates Capital and Strategy Manager

Salary Scale: SP1 – SP3 (£53,529 - £55,803)

Hours: Based on 37 hours per week

Based: Police Headquarters, Penrith, Cumbria

The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Cumbria is looking for a dynamic individual to work with the Head of Estates to achieve his vision for an estate which maximises operational fit, is cost effective and efficient for both Cumbria Constabulary and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.

The Estates Capital and Strategy Manager will be responsible for delivering a complex transformation programme to the police and fire estate. They will make targeted capital investment and use collaborative working to develop and deliver estates initiatives that support the investment in and transformation of our blue light estate. In addition, they will assist with development of the estate strategy, the associated capital investment plan and wider estates related initiatives, achieving the best solutions to ensure police and fire operations are supported by a fit for purpose estate.

You will need to have experience of working within an estates project environment, ideally leading significant work packages within estate improvement and transformation. You will be able to develop and implement estate strategies and investment programmes, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders. In return, you will be joining a top performing team, supporting officers and staff across three organisations.
