The Commissioner has a statutory responsibility under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act to produce an Annual Report as part of the public holding the Commissioner to account.
As a minimum the Annual Report covers the following matters:
- Describes how the Commissioner has carried out his legal duties.
- Sets out what the Commissioner has achieved since being elected into office in May 2016.
- Reports on the progress that has been made in meeting the objectives set out in the Police and Crime
Following the end of the financial year the Police and Crime Commissioner will produce an annual report. This will be presented to the Police and Crime Panel in July 2017, and will be published thereafter.
