Support provided by the Constabulary
Currently staff within Cumbria Constabulary undertake roles and functions on behalf of the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner, in areas such as finance, invoice payments, estates, ICT and HR. The agreed Scheme of Delegation under which these functions are carried out can be viewed here.
The Police & Crime Commissioner, and members of the OPCC team, work from offices at Police Headquarters in Penrith. The Commissioner also, and when required staff from the OPCC team, work from offices in Kendal, Durranhill and Workington police stations.
